It's raining heavily outside and this just reminds me the day I bought my first ever A - Z of Smocking book. The book is superb with beautiful illustrations and comprehensive guide for a self-taught smocker like me.
That was more than two years ago when I first learn smocking, and yesterday I manage to complete a simple blouse for my youngest sis, Farah aka Mak Usu. She has been requesting a smocked blouse for so long and only a few months ago decided to have some smocking details on the sleeves...
I hope she will like it and wear this blouse at the uni.
Right after finishing the project I rushed to complete (and it's done) some day curtains for my Project Room and the living room. Phew! What a day! But I'm :)
Next time, I'll try to upload my recent smocking project which is a smocked long dress. Till then, happy sewing!
