I just made a petticoat for my dress form (dummy) this afternoon while my son and hubby going to the orchard...
I used approx. 1.25mtr x 44" wide of white fabric for the umbrella skirt and 2mtr of tulle (for the gathering) which I bought from the harberdashery. This is how it turned out...
So from a smocked dress photographed like this:
Turned out to look like this:
The petticoat gives more body as you could see the fullness of the skirt and it looks much more presentable when photographed.. :)

di kedai erpha (exclusive smocking) ada banyak lagi baju smocking. kalau berminat singgah k.. tq... :)
