Bittersweet & Hard Candy
This will be my last showcase of my smocking collection. I call this ~ Bittersweet & Hard Candy. I couldn't capture the original colour of the fabric with my digital camera (how amateur!).
I decided to use an American cotton insert and embroidered tiny roses to make it 'pop'. I unpicked the pleating threads 5 ~ 6cm at each side seam and let the pleats closely spaced.

hany kali ni erpha tak stretchkan pleat dia... tapi kat side seam erpha unpick 6cm supaya saiz badan tetap cukup...
